This book nook comes with a coin battery operated strand of fairy lights. For photography purposes, we wrapped the strand in and out of the window panes, and inserted several bulbs into the circular hole in the back. The batteries will last approximately 72 hours, and has an on/off switch. Your book nook will arrive with the strand of fairy lights not attached to the nook so that you can light the piece as you'd like.
